I was delighted and thrilled to host my first full day “Creative Vision Board” day this weekend. I have done elements of the day in different sessions but this was the first time I had dedicated a day to helping people develop a vision board for their lives.
I was really excited and had the room set up for the 5 people who were attending. I wanted to create a warm and welcoming environment so had the cushions out, the music on and the candles lit when everyone arrived! The Centre of Spirituality is located in a really beautiful setting so that makes things alot easier!
I was really excited about the day as it was the first event I have hosted under the name Soul Garden. In 2009, I had completed a Life Coaching course and it started to really change the direction of my life. As a result of the course I decided that I would love to set up my own business and I completed a start your own business course in preparation for that dream. I got a brand designed up (soul garden logo) and had in my mind that I wanted to have a business that was a combination of coaching, vision boards and vision parties.
It was not until 2011 that I left my job in FMCG and started up my new business. Initially I focused on developing my business around my core skill of marketing and training. In September, I changed from a sole trader into a limited company and officially named my business Soul Garden Limited.
Having the Creative Vision Board session on Saturday was the first iteration of the realisation of that dream I had in 2009. Soul Garden was starting to bloom! At the end of the session I felt really emotional and was so grateful for the women who participated in the day.
It was such a beautiful day with lovely company and the chance to create a space for people to reflect and then creatively express their visions into the physical format of a Vision Board. It was a day filled with inspiration, creativity and hopefully the start of the manifestation of the dreams for the women who shared the day on Saturday!
